Lance on Twitter and other updates

I just wanted to give everyone a quick update….

You can now follow Lance on Twitter. After we got Doug hooked on it ?¢‚Ǩ‚Äú he got Lance excited about the idea and he has now officially joined.

What is Twitter you might be asking? Well twitter is a new social media technology. Like blogging it offers any person the opportunity to publish their thoughts to the world. The difference with Twitter is that it is defined as micro blogging ?¢‚Ǩ‚Äú meaning every post is 140 characters or less.

You don’t have to sign up to follow Lance or Doug.

Nike+ and logging your miles for the LAF

Give 100% of your marathon training and racing miles to a good cause and help fight cancer! Log your miles in Chicago’s Nike+ Marathon Charity Challenge. For this year’s Bank of America Chicago Marathon, Nike and Bank of America will be donating up to $100,000 through the Lance Armstrong Foundation to support programs at Children’s Memorial Hospital and the Imerman Angels.

The number of dollars donated depends on the number of miles you run and log through Nike+! To reach our goal of donating $100,000 to charity, we’ll need to have 500,000 Nike+ miles logged between now and midnight on October…
